This app provides tables and examples that have been helping researchers and students learn statistics over the past 15 years.

A wide variety of statistical tests are covered from parametric tests(one sample z, one sample t, two sample t, paired t, analysis of variance:ANOVA) to
nonparametric (Wilcoxon rank sum, Wilcoxon signed rank, chi-square, Fishers exact, McNemars, Kruskal-Wallis, and Mantel-Haenszel).

Regression models

Linear regression
Logistic regression
Survival analysis (Cox proportional hazards regression)

as well as sections on Data and Model Building Tips and Rules. These are details often overlooked by researchers and can lead to potentially serious consequences.

For each statistical test or model, a helpful table is provided that outlines the concept behind the test, the keywords or key idea used to identify the specific type of test, as well as the form of the hypothesis statement related to the test. This is followed by the presentation of the test statistic and an example.

The examples shown in the app outline in detail exactly how the test is used starting with the set-up of the data set and hypothesis statement, to a detailed step by step breakdown of the statistical formula and importantly, what its result means.

Statistics Professor app good for

Love this app. It makes deciding on which stats test to use much easier. It even provides rationales for when to use a particular statistical analysis test.

This really makes it easy to understand statistics tests with the tables and examples

A very helpful app with clear summaries of various tests & models in statistics. Each summary includes keys to identifying when to use that test/model, the equation and an example. Thanks!

Some bad moments

All the content is freely available on line. Should have been a free app.

This app is just a set of index card notes. It is difficult to navigate, and I do not feel that it is worth the current price. I cannot comment on the accuracy of the material.

Great handy tool to help determine which statistical test to use to best suit my needs. Wish I had this in my undergrad years.
